Trainings

Ecoglobe is organizing annual trainings for it's staff, trains potential inspectors and provides specific training to producers.

Employees of ECOGLOBE attend the trainings provided by external experts and organic certification bodies.

2010

• 22 - 31 March, 2010

Green Caucasus standard: “Standard for Production, Processing, Labelling and Marketing of Organically Produced Foods”, inspection and certification procedures

Internal annual trainings according to the training program, including on site practical training.

2009

• August and October 2009

Organic production, processing and labelling (training for producers, processors and retailers) with CARD, Shen and EPER.

• 28-30 October, 2009

Training on USDA National Organic Program in cooperation with Organic Insights and USDA.

2008

• Training for supermarket managers on organic labelling and sales with CARD and Avalon.

• Organic training for value chain: producers and processors and ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System in cooperation with IMS and TAM/BAS

• Training on evaluation and certification work in the fields of crop production, wild collection and processing (including trading activities) with practical part, CERES, Germany

2007

• Good Manufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Programs CESO

• Regional Training on Internal Control Systems and Group Certification with EU Consultant and EPER

• Regional Training on Organic Inspection in Georgia with CERES, Germany

• Organic Agriculture: history, production, inspection, certification and accreditation, TMF project: Development of Organic Chain in South Caucasus, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan, Avalon, ECOGLOBE, Yerevan

• Problems of obsolete pesticides, spread the information on activities and extend of the Network of the IHPA with the objective to help to eliminate obsolete pesticides in Central, Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia and other parts of the globe, IHPA
